Our initial training is two weeks long and consists of one week of classroom learning and hands-on training in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, followed by an additional week of on-site training at your location. These two weeks of training don’t necessarily happen back-to-back, but they will be scheduled so that your on-site training corresponds with the start-up phase of your business.
Additional training and education programs are available to franchisees as well as periodic on-site consultation by our team of experienced Arborists.
Training sessions are conducted by our professional staff and cover the following topics:
- Equipment usage and safety
- Public relations
- Budgeting and business planning
- Supplies and purchasing
- Bookkeeping and financial controls
- Advertising and sales strategies
- Operations and management
- Marketing and digital strategies
In addition, our team will show you how to provide and operate our exclusive Plant Health Care (PHC) program to help generate additional sales for your business.
Grand Opening Support
To help you launch your new business smoothly following the pre-opening training, our experienced Arborists and Field Operations and Safety Manager will be on-site at your location for a week. You’ll get personal, one-on-one assistance with sales, equipment, scheduling, and more. You will also be provided with quarterly field support from then on.
Ongoing Training & Support
In addition to the initial training class, we provide monthly online training sessions and modules, arborist continuing education, an annual conference, and periodic onsite visits. You will also have access to our extensive library of professionally designed marketing materials developed to help give you a competitive edge.
