Greenville's Certified Tree Experts Are Heading to the SC Home Show
Monster Tree Service of Greenville County will be at the South Carolina Home Show on October 24 and 25, and our certified arborists can't wait to meet you. Stop by Booth #423 to ask questions, show us photos of the trees around your home, and get expert guidance before winter weather arrives.
Trees near your house are one of the few places where the wrong call gets expensive fast. At the show, you can talk with the people who understand how trees grow, how they fail, and how to work around your property safely.
Why Greenville Homeowners Trust Our Arborists
We are certified arborists, not just a crew with chainsaws. Every property visit starts with an arborist on site, not a salesperson. Here is what stands behind that:
- ISA-certified arborists on staff. They judge your trees by how trees actually grow and fail, not by guesswork.
- ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. This formal hazard-assessment qualification means that when a tree threatens your home, driveway, or fence, you get an honest, informed answer.
- Petzl Technical Partner. Our lead climber holds Advanced Aerial Rescue certification through the Petzl Technical Partner Program.
- Four TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professionals. That credential covers job site safety, not only the tree work itself.
- Fully insured. We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation, and we provide a certificate of insurance before work begins.
- Detailed digital estimates. Photo-supported and itemized, so you see which trees, what work, and what it costs before the first cut.
- A final walk-through on every job. We don't leave until you've confirmed the work matches the plan and the yard is clean.
Greenville County homeowners have backed this up with 400+ five-star Google reviews and a 4.9 average rating. We also hold a BBB A+ rating, Nextdoor Neighborhood Faves recognition in 2021, 2023, and 2025, and a 2026 Best of South Carolina award for Tree Removal Services. Talk to a Certified Arborist at Booth #423
Skip the guesswork. At our booth you can get straight answers about the trees on your property from people who do this work every day. Bring photos of any tree you are unsure about, and we can talk through:
- Tree removal, from standard removals to crane-assisted jobs for large trees near your home
- Tree risk assessments and inspections for trees that lean, decline, or just look unhealthy
- Pruning and trimming, including corrective pruning, deadwooding, crown density reduction, and cabling and bracing
- Stump grinding
- Plant health care, such as fertilization, soil testing, and insect and disease management
- Emergency and storm damage response, including help with the insurance claim process
Our team has handled everything from routine pruning to 100-ton crane removals, so no question is too big or too small. The Home Show is a great place to compare options in one trip, and our booth is a relaxed spot to ask about your yard without any pressure.
What Our Arborists Look For Before Winter
Late October is a smart time to have a professional look at the trees around your home. Here is what a certified arborist checks, and what you can ask us about at the show:
- Dead or hanging limbs. Brittle, cracked, or hanging branches can drop without warning, especially over roofs, driveways, and walkways.
- Trees leaning toward your home. A new or worsening lean calls for a professional risk assessment.
- Branches near power lines or rooflines. Overgrowth here can cause damage in wind and storms, and work near power lines is a job for trained crews.
- Signs of decay. Mushrooms at the base, peeling bark, or cavities in the trunk can point to problems inside the tree.
- Stumps from past removals. Grinding them out clears space and removes a tripping hazard.
Not sure whether something on your property is a concern? Bring a photo to the booth and one of our arborists will take a look.
