Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park
The Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park is home to a wide variety of racing events. In addition to the NHRA series, the raceway will host the Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series. Among the sponsors will be J&A Service. The mid-week events will take place at the track on May 6 and 7.
The Drag Racing League does allow contestants to share their cars but only if the driver is present at the call of the race. Other awards will be contingent on maintaining good standing with Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park and the NHRA. It is possible to share a car but a driver cannot drive more than one Jr. Dragster in the same category. Each driver/car combination must be used in its category. Changes can be permitted by the event director but must occur before the eliminations.
Throwdown in T-Town
Throwdown in T-Town, the mid-west drag racing series, is returning to Tulsa Raceway Park on Sept. 30 and Oct. 2. In addition to the popular MWDRS, this event is a chance for racers to showcase their skills in an exciting two-day event. Presented by J&A Service, the Mid-West Drag Racing Series features 12 classes of dragsters and is known for its stellar shows.
MWDRS Mid-West Drag Racing Series classes will also take part in the Throwdown, with 16-car fields, $10,000 in prize money, and many other exciting features. The MWDRS added Funny Cars and Big Tire Outlaw N/T classes to its lineup in 2020, and Throwdown in T-Town will have these classes and more. Several popular classes will also be featured, including Super Pro, 6.0 Index, and Foot Brake.
Test-n-Tune
Audi owners are invited to the Test-n-Tune at Tulsa Raceway Park on Sept. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is open to all competitors. You can test your ride, too! Test-n-Tune is a series of qualifying runs for NHRA Division 4 races. You can also compete in this event if you're a competitive racer.
Ford Shelby Meet
The Ford Shelby Meet at Tulsa Raceway Park has all of the fun of a drag racing event, with over 10,000 seats in the grandstand. This venue also has 6 suites, a media room and event space. The Shelby Car Club of America is an active member, and members can join in on the festivities. In addition, guests can check out the drag racing program to see the newest cars and get a chance to win great prizes!
The Ford Motor Company is bringing its high-performance vehicles to the Mid-America Ford & Shelby Nationals, the largest car meet in the nation. The event will feature family fun, activities for gearheads, and events for the local community. The event will kick off with the Ford Motor Company Drivers School, where attendees can learn about driving a Shelby and compete in drag racing events. After a day of racing, guests can enjoy a cruise through Historic Downtown Tulsa and take in a professional driving class.
NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League
Located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League at Tulsa Raceway Park offers fans of all ages the chance to watch exciting drag racing. The raceway features a 10,000-seat grandstand, six suites, a media room, and event space. The track also hosts the NHRA Summit Racing Junior Drag Racing Championship.
The event will include nearly 300 racers from across the United States competing for individual and team honors. The racers will race in 8 age divisions. Half-scale dragsters with 5-horsepower engines will hit speeds of up to 85 mph and cover the eighth mile track in 7.90 seconds. The racers in the Jr. Comp division will reach 110 mph in 6.90 seconds.
